LEO: Astrology Forecast for August 2009

This is Leo’s month to shine, but did you know that these monthly astrological forecasts can benefit all of the 12 Zodiac signs? We all have the opportunity to learn the positive attributes (virtues) of Leo by consciously embracing the energies of Leo from July 23rd through August 23rd. You will improve your personal intimate relationships by developing these positive attributes within yourself. You will also have a deeper understanding of those born under the sign of Leo.

Energies of Leo

Will energy dominates during Leo. Whether in your personal life, the workplace, or your community; you can take this opportunity to review your current goals. It is a perfect time to keep what is working and discard what is not. Keep a close eye out for new opportunities this month. They may not always be obvious when they first appear.

Like the energies of Aries and Capricorn, Leo’s Will energy is very strong. It will wipeout and destroy the old, and start over by creating something new.

Scientific Reasoning energy also dominates during Leo. This is the mad scientist and researcher energy that is always solving problems of the here and now, and of the future. Like the energies of Sagittarius and Aquarius, Leo’s Scientific Reasoning energy will lead us to personal freedom.

Virtues

Leo is known as the great experimenter. With great courage, leadership and creativity, Leo is in the forefront of new ideas. Leo will bring an idea from complexity to simplicity.

Vices

Leo’s energy tends to be too strong, overpowering, and using others as guinea pigs in their research. Once the research is complete, Leo moves on to the next problem, not hanging around and implementing what was found.

Personal

Utilizing the energies during Leo, this is the best time to take the chaos out of your life. Re-evaluate your goals for the year. Improve on the successes and discard the failures. Create new goals. You can harness this very strong will energy and turn it into power. Be aware that finding your power is not overpowering others in the process. Keep your physical body in motion; walk, run, exercise.

Intimate Relationships

Try using your Scientific Reasoning in your close and intimate relationships. This is a good month to step back and look at what isn’t working for you. Use your practical reasoning instead of emotional thinking to resolve any issues.

Resist the temptation to use your strong will to overpower your loved ones. Listen to their ideas. Empower them to be creative in solving any challenges both of you may be going through. Remember that this is a team effort and together your creative juices will flow resulting in a solution that is workable for everyone.

Family

Inspire your partner, your children, and your whole family to become free of chaos. Take the complexity of life and simplify it. Get to the core of the problem and solve it together. Everybody wins!

Workplace

As an employee, inspire others to be co-leaders. Sharing your leadership role gives you even more power. Research what is needed to run a smooth ship. Join efforts with co-workers to solve problems. Encourage others to have the courage to create new ideas to solve old problems.

As an employer, you can empower your team to work together to solve problems. Morale will remain high when employees are part of the solution, instead of being part of the problem. Be open to new ideas.

Community

Once you have developed your abilities to lead without overpowering others, take the time to give back to the community at a local, state or federal level.  During these most difficult times, your community service as a leader is certainly needed. Your ability to get the job done and cooperating with other co-leaders, will result in finding the solution to any problem.
